11.1. The main cylinder of a drive of deenergizing of coupling

The basic difference of the main cylinder described in given section, from a variant considered in section 5 "Transmission", in tank installation directly on the cylinder. The tank of other variant of the main cylinder is established separately and connected to the cylinder a flexible hose. Besides, many entering details (fig. 11.1) are various also.

Removal and installation of the main cylinder of coupling
The main cylinder remove from the car for replacement or repair. However if the executor does not possess skills of performance of razborochno-assembly works, we recommend to replace the faulty cylinder in gathering.

At removal of the main cylinder of coupling the working liquid from a hydrodrive can to be merged. The insignificant quantity of air which has remained in the top part of the pipeline of a drive, will be removed at its prorolling.

1. Disconnect from the main cylinder a tube 1 (fig. 5.2 see). Take measures against вытекания liquids from an aperture of the main cylinder (for example, muffle an aperture a slice of rags or suitable rubber or plastic заглушкой).
2. Disconnect a pusher 16 from a pedal finger, having removed from a finger lock скобу 15.
3. Turn on two nuts 3 and remove the main cylinder from hairpins of an arm of pedals.
4. Remove a stopper (fig. 11.1) a tank 1 see and pour out a liquid in capacity.
5. Establish the main cylinder in an order, the return to removal.
6. Remove air from a hydrodrive (section 5 "Transmission", «Prorolling of a hydrodrive of coupling» see).

To reduce necessity of prorolling of a hydrodrive to a minimum, after joining to the cylinder of a connecting tube do not tighten a nut of its fastening completely. Fill in in a tank a liquid and definitively tighten a tube nut only after from under it the liquid without air vials will start to follow. Frequently at such way hydrodrive prorolling is not required.

Dismantling and assemblage of the main cylinder
1. Ослабьте a collar 2 (fig. 11.1 see) and remove a tank 1 from the case of the main cylinder 4.
2. Remove a protective cover 5 together with a pusher 6.
3. Take out special pincers or круглогубцами with long sponges a lock ring 7.
4. Take out from the cylinder case the basic plug 8, the piston 9, a cuff 10 pistons, a clamp 11, a spring 12, a holder 13 valves, a spring of the valve 14 and the valve 15.
5. Wash out details a fresh brake liquid.

       THE NOTE
Application of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel or mineral oils is inadmissible, as these substances cause swelling of rubber details.

6. Check up a technical condition of details of the cylinder. The mirror of the cylinder and an external surface of pistons should not have damages and corrosion. The found out small teases or dot corrosion eliminate fine-grained grinding бруском. Replace a returnable spring of the piston if it has cracks. We recommend to replace sealing rings irrespective of their condition. Check up a protective cap; if it is damaged, replace its new.
7. Collect the main cylinder in sequence, return dismantling.

       THE NOTE
Before assemblage grease all details with a fresh brake liquid, and the spherical surface of the piston contacting to a pusher, – консистентной greasing.
