In a combination of devices of your car there is an alarm lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil in the engine (poses. 18 on fig. 1.12). For reliable work of the engine it is necessary, that in system of greasing of the engine enough high pressure was constantly provided.

       THE PREVENTION
If at the working engine the alarm lamp of pressure drop of oil lights up and continues to burn at the raised frequency of rotation, it is a disturbing sign. It is necessary to stop, stop immediately the engine and to find out the reason. The further work of the engine at the lowered pressure of oil can lead to its serious breakage and the big financial expenses for repair.

Check of system of greasing
1. Open a cowl. Do not hasten to check at once oil level in the engine – allow to it to flow down in oil картер, it will occupy two-three minutes. In this time attentively examine the engine – whether there are no on it fresh smudges of oil?

2. Glance under a forward part of the car – whether it is punched oil картер the engine, whether there is no there a leak?

       GOOD ADVICE
If the leak of oil from punched oil crankcase is found out, try to close up temporarily it on a place. For this purpose it is possible to use an inner tube, a rubber piece, a rag, a wooden stopper, etc.

3. Pay attention to the oil filter. Oil can leak from under a rubber lining of the filter if it is damaged or the filter is poorly tightened. Sometimes happens a little enough to tighten it clockwise.

       THE PREVENTION
About hot details of the engine it is possible to burn, therefore put on gloves and clothes with long sleeves.

4. Take out oil щуп, wipe its pure rag and insert into place. Once again get щуп and check up oil level. Level should be between labels MIN and MAX.
5. If level of oil below a label MIN, add oil to norm.

       GOOD ADVICE
In the absence of a funnel for доливки oils it is possible to use a funnel made of a mouth of a plastic bottle.

6. Start up the engine. If at normal level the lamp of pressure of oil has gone out, it is possible to continue movement. If the lamp all the same burns, check up serviceability of the gauge of pressure of oil. For this purpose turn away the regular gauge of pressure of oil and establish on its place a mechanical manometre. If pressure at a normal rate of rotation of idling more than 0,06 МПа (0,65 kgs/sm3) also increases with growth of turns, the gauge or its electric chain is faulty. If after elimination of all visible reasons pressure of oil in the engine insufficiently (the lamp of pressure drop of oil burns), is required diagnostics and engine repair (section 4 "Engine" see).

       THE PREVENTION
Do not try to reach to garage – the engine will fail. Tow off the car in repair with the idle engine.
