8.2. A good advice
To pump over brakes without the assistant it is possible in two ways. The first – the most reliable: order to the turner an aluminium or bronze cover on the main brake cylinder, wrap in it the gate from the chamber and an additional hose connect to a spare wheel; pressure of air should not exceed 0,05–0,07 МПа (0,5–0,7 kgs/sm2). The second – not so reliable, but admissible: connect a rubber pear to the union of the wheel cylinder – connection should be very dense. Compress a pear, turn away the union; when the pear will be filled half, wrap the union. Repeat procedure 3–4 times. At trial braking check up work of brakes
The free wheeling of a pedal of a brake at the idle engine should be 3–5 mm. Too small free wheeling testifies to jamming of the working cylinder and causes the raised expense of fuel and the accelerated deterioration brake колодок, too big – a sign of backlashes above permitted standard in the mechanism of a pedal or негерметичности brake system. If the free wheeling decreases by numerous pressing a pedal, i.e. it becomes more rigid", – in system air. If the pedal full speed starts to increase – system негерметична.
If at braking the brake pedal starts to vibrate – more often business in короблении brake disks. Unfortunately, in their such situation it is necessary to change only, and at once both.
If at braking the car starts to pull aside, check up working cylinders: probably, their repair or replacement is required.
If in a forward suspension bracket there was a knock vanishing at braking, check up an inhaling of two bolts of fastening of a support.
After replacement brake колодок prior to the beginning of movement necessarily some times press a brake pedal – pistons in wheel cylinders should rise into place.
