7.10. Replacement of steering draughts

It is necessary to replace pognutye steering draughts necessarily as editing of this responsible element of a steering is inadmissible because in a draught material there can be cracks.

It be required to you: a key «on 22», a stripper for выпрессовки a finger of the spherical hinge, пассатижи.

NOTES Work is more convenient for carrying out on the lift. It is possible to execute it and on the car established on support. Draught replacement is shown on an example of the left lateral draught, right replace similarly.

1. Remove a corresponding wheel.

2. Расшплинтуйте a nut of a finger of the external hinge.	3. Turn away a nut.

4. Establish a stripper and выпрессуйте a finger of the spherical hinge from the rotary lever.

GOOD ADVICE In the absence of a stripper the finger of the spherical hinge can be beaten out sharp blows of a hammer on an end face of a lug of the rotary lever, putting blows along a lever axis.

5. Расшплинтуйте a nut of a finger of the internal hinge also turn away a nut.	6. Establish a stripper and выпрессуйте a finger of the spherical hinge from сошки the steering mechanism.

7. Remove steering draught.

8. Establish new steering draught in an order, the return to removal.

GOOD ADVICE As far as possible not to break corners of installation of wheels, measure distance centre to centre hinges of old draught and, having weakened coupling bolts adjusting муфты new draught, establish the same distance centre to centre its hinges. Do not forget to tighten after draught installation a nut of coupling bolts муфты.

9. Check up and in case of need adjust corners of installation of wheels at servicing deport.

3. To removal of cross-section draught disturbs картер a reducer of the forward bridge (fingers of spherical hinges of draught do not manage to be deduced completely from eyes сошки and the pendular lever). Therefore disconnect from the stabilizer a reducer of the forward bridge for what turn away four nuts of fastening скоб stabilizer fastenings to картеру a reducer. Under a body weight the reducer will be turned on forward support, and between it and draught the backlash, sufficient for draught removal will open.

4. Расшплинтуйте a nut of fastening of a finger of the spherical hinge of average bent for сошке the steering mechanism...

5.... Also turn away a nut.	6. Establish a stripper and выпрессуйте a finger of the spherical hinge from a lug сошки the steering mechanism.

7. Remove steering draught.

8. Establish new steering draught and other removed knots in an order, the return to removal.
