7.4. Liquid replacement in hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering

Liquid in hydraulic booster system replace at its excessive pollution. The Manufacturer does not give accurate recommendations about periodicity of replacement of a liquid in hydrosystem, therefore we recommend to replace it in six years irrespective of a condition.

For application in hydrosystem of the amplifier the manufacturer recommends a liquid – oil «Pentosin Hidraulik Fluid CHF11S». However for technological reasons on cars since VIN № X9L21230040005880 in hydrosystem working liquid Shell Donax TA D-21631 (Dexron II), and with VIN № X9L21230040006248 – Ravenol Dexron II D is used. The cars filled with oil Shell Donax, have a label on a tank – «*», and the cars filled Ravenol Dexron II D, – «R», but on cars of last release these labels can be absent.

Liquids Dexron II (red colour) cannot be mixed with Pentosin Hidraulik Fluid CHF11S (green colour). Full replacement of a liquid after washing of hydrosystem of the amplifier is supposed.

At use of liquids Dexron II reduce use term twice in comparison with the recommended.

1. Turn out a coupling bolt of an arm of a tank of hydrosystem of the amplifier.	2. Turn away a tank stopper.

3. Take out a tank from an arm and merge a liquid from a tank in suitable capacity.	4. Ослабьте a collar of fastening of a taking away hose also remove a hose.

5. For prevention вытекания liquids muffle an aperture in the tank union, lower the end of a taking away hose in capacity for a merged liquid. Start up the engine and, having turned a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop in both parties three-four times, merge an old liquid, simultaneously adding the new. Repeat operation before occurrence of a fresh liquid from a taking away hose.

THE PREVENTION Watch closely liquid level in a tank, do not suppose air hit in the hydraulic booster pump. It can lead to pump damage.

6. Establish a tank in an order, the return to removal.

7. Add a liquid to level of the top label on щупе tank stoppers.
