7.11. Removal and installation of the steering mechanismThe steering mechanism remove for repair (it is recommended to repair the mechanism in a specialised workshop) or replacement.
The steering mechanism is established on the left longeron from its inside and fixed on a longeron of a body by three bolts inserted from the inside.
It be required to you: keys «on 17», «on 19», a screw-driver.

1. Merge a liquid from hydraulic booster system (liquid Replacement in hydrosystem of the amplifier of a steering »see«).

2. Disconnect steering draughts from сошки the steering mechanism («Replacement of steering draughts» see).
|
|
|
|
|
3. Turn out a bolt-union of a hose of a high pressure.
|
4. Pay attention to a condition of copper linings. Погнутые or strongly pressed out linings replace.
|
|
|
|
|
5. Ослабьте a collar of a taking away hose and...
|
6.... Remove a hose from the union of the steering mechanism.
|
|
7. Mark position карданного the hinge of an intermediate shaft concerning a shaft of a worm of the steering mechanism, turn away a nut of a coupling bolt and disconnect propeller the hinge of an intermediate shaft from a shaft of a worm of the mechanism of a steering («Replacement of an intermediate shaft» see).

8. Turn away three nuts of bolts of fastening of the mechanism of a steering to a longeron.
|

THE NOTE
Pay attention: under nuts flat washers are established. Do not forget to establish them at return assemblage
|
|
|
|
9. Take out bolts and remove the steering mechanism.
|
|
10. Establish the steering mechanism in an order, the return to removal.

11. Before tightening nuts of bolts 1 (fig. 7.4), the special device сориентируйте the steering mechanism so that a corner а=28 °.

12. After installation fill the mechanism with a liquid and pump over system («Prorolling of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering» see).
