9.7. The switch (lock) of ignition Features of a design
On cars VAZ-2123 is applied the switch of ignition of type 2123-3704005 with anticreeping запорным the device, blocking against repeated inclusion of a starter without preliminary deenergizing of ignition and the communication coil transponderа the ignition key with automobile anticreeping system.

At the ignition switch check correctness of short circuit of contacts at various positions of a key (tab. 9.2), work of the antijoy ride device and presence of communication with automobile anticreeping system. Pressure from the storage battery and the generator is brought to contact «30» ( fig. 9.9).

For unloading of contacts of the switch of ignition in the assembly block relay K6 is established.
The zapornyj core of the antijoy ride device should be put forward, if a key to establish in position 0 (is switched off) and to take out from the lock. The zapornyj core should утапливаться after turn of a key from position 0 I (ignition) (is switched off) in position. The key should be taken out from the lock only in position 0.
The blocking device against repeated inclusion of a starter should not suppose repeated turn of a key from position I (ignition) in position II ( starter). Such turn should be possible only after preliminary returning of a key in position 0 (is switched off).
Removal and installation of the switch of ignition

1. Remove the top and bottom casings of a steering column (Removal and installation of the panel of devices »see«).

|
2. Disconnect колодку with wires of the switch of ignition from a plait of wires.
|
3. Disconnect колодку with wires of the switch of ignition from the ignition relay.
|
|
|
|
4. Turn out by means of a chisel or a screw-driver and a hammer or drill four bolts with self-cut off heads. Remove the switch from a steering column.

5. Establish the switch in an order, the return to removal, preliminary having drowned запорный an antijoy ride device core. For this purpose insert into the switch a key and turn it from position «0».
