4.10. Check and installation of phases timing on labelsIt be required to you: a screw-driver, keys «on 8», «on 10», «on 13», a special key for проворачивания a cranked shaft.

1. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders («Replacement of a lining of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders» see).

2. Rotating a cranked shaft, combine labels on an asterisk of a camshaft and on the case of its bearings. If the chain is established correctly, the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft should coincide with a long label on a cover of a chain of a drive of a camshaft.
|
3. If labels do not coincide, unbend petals of a lock washer of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft.
|

|
4. Include the first transfer to fix a cranked shaft from проворачивания, turn away a bolt and...
|
5.... Remove it together with lock and persistent washers.
|
|
THE PREVENTION
Lock and persistent washers are not fixed in any way on a bolt and it is easy from it act in film. Be cautious – do not drop them in the engine pallet.

|
|
6. Dismantle натяжитель chains (Replacement натяжителя chains of a drive of a camshaft »see«).

THE NOTE
In the presence of necessary skills гидронатяжитель it is possible not to remove. To wring out плунжер гидронатяжителя the big screw-driver or an assembly shovel enough.

7. Remove an asterisk together with a chain, remove a chain from an asterisk and then again establish it on an asterisk, having changed chain position on asterisk teeths in the necessary party. It is recommended for to move once a chain on one tooth.
|
8. Put on an asterisk together with a chain a camshaft flange, having pulled a leading branch of a chain. As at change of position of a chain on an asterisk the aperture in an asterisk ceases to coincide with an adjusting pin in a flange, turn an a bit cranked shaft in the necessary party till the moment of coincidence of an aperture and a pin.

9. Establish a bolt of fastening of an asterisk together with persistent and lock washers and wrap it against the stop, without tightening definitively.
|
|
10. Having turned a cranked shaft on two turns, repeat check of position of labels as it did earlier.
|
|
11. If labels coincide, tighten a bolt and bend on a side of its head a petal of a lock washer. In case of discrepancy of labels repeat installation of phases timing.
|
|
12. Establish all removed before a detail in return sequence.
|

GOOD ADVICE
In order to avoid an oil leak replace a lining of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
