4.21. Removal and engine installation

The engine take out from the car upwards. For engine removal the elevating device load-carrying capacity not less than 300 kg is necessary. The car needs to be established on the lift, a viewing ditch or a platform. Before engine removal it is necessary to prepare a reliable support on which the engine should stand steadily. The engine is more convenient for taking out if to remove a cowl.

GOOD ADVICE Before a detachment of hoses and electric wires it is recommended to mark them not to mix at assemblage.

The Manufacturer recommends to remove the engine, preliminary having separated knots of the power unit: the transmission with картером couplings remains on the car, and at engine removal the forward bearing of a primary shaft of a transmission and a nave of a conducted disk of coupling act in film from a primary shaft.

It be required to you: keys «on 10», «on 13», «on 17» and «on 19» (or a head with extension pieces and карданным the hinge), screw-drivers (two), оправка for a centering of a conducted disk of coupling, пассатижи, таль or other elevating device, slings (a strong cord).

1. Remove a cowl (Removal and cowl installation »see«).

2. Disconnect wires from the storage battery.

3. Remove a decorative casing of the engine (Removal and installation of a decorative casing of the engine »see«).

4. Remove protection oil crankcase and an engine mudguard (Removal and installation of protection oil crankcase and an engine mudguard »see«).

5. Merge a liquid from system of cooling of the engine («Replacement of a cooling liquid» see).

6. Remove a radiator of system of cooling (Replacement of a radiator and electrofans of system of cooling »see«).

7. Turn away a nut of fastening of pillows of forward support of the engine to arms of a cross-beam of a forward suspension bracket, remove the washers established under them.	8. Turn out bolts of fastening of a forward cover crankcase couplings.

9. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the working cylinder of a hydrodrive of coupling, without disconnecting from it a hose, and...	10.... Take the cylinder aside (for descriptive reasons forward propeller the shaft is removed).

11. Turn out four bolts of fastening crankcase couplings to the block of cylinders of the engine.	12. Turn away a nut of a bolt of a collar of fastening of a reception pipe, take out a bolt and disconnect a collar from an arm.

13. Disconnect колодку a plait of wires from the detonation gauge.	14. Turn away a nut of fastening of a plait of wires to the plug «+» the generator...

15.... Remove wires from the plug and take a plait aside.	16. Remove the air filter together with an arm (Removal and installation of the air filter »see«).

17. Ослабьте a collar of fastening also remove the left part воздухоподводящего a branch pipe from an intermediate arm.

18. Ослабьте a collar of fastening of the right part воздухоподводящего a branch pipe to throttle knot...	19.... Turn out a bolt of fastening of an intermediate arm and take the right part of a branch pipe aside, without disconnecting from it a ventilation hose crankcase.

20. Disconnect pad plaits of wires from the gauge of position throttle заслонки...	21.... From an idling regulator...

22.... From a plait of wires of atomizers...	23.... From the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid of a control system of the engine.

24. Take out holders of a motor plait of wires from apertures of arms on the engine and a body and take a plait aside.	25. Disconnect колодку a plait of wires from the ignition module.

26. Turn away a nut of fastening of plugs of "mass" wires to an arm of the module of ignition and disconnect wires.	27. Disconnect wires from the gauge of emergency pressure drop of oil and...

28.... The gauge of the index of temperature of a cooling liquid.	29. Remove a belt from a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (Check of a tension and adjustment of a belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster »see«).

30. Disconnect колодку a plait of wires from the gauge of position of a cranked shaft.	31. Turn out bolts of fastening of an arm of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering to the engine (boot Replacement натяжителя chains of a drive of a camshaft »see«), take away an arm together with the pump (without disconnecting hoses) from the engine and fix it on a body in any accessible way (for example, having fixed a wire).

32. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a wire of "weight" of the engine and...	33.... Disconnect a wire together with an arm.

34. Disconnect a cable of a drive throttle заслонки from sector of throttle knot and an arm on a receiver («Replacement of a lining of a receiver» see) and take him aside.	35. Ослабьте a collar of fastening also remove from a branch pipe of an inlet pipe a hose of the vacuum amplifier of a brake.

36. Ослабьте collars of fastening also disconnect from branch pipes of a shirt of cooling of the engine and the thermostat top and...	37.... Bottom hoses of a radiator of system of cooling.

38. Ослабьте a collar of fastening also disconnect from a branch pipe of throttle knot a hose of a purge of an adsorber.	39. Ослабьте a collar of fastening of a hose to a branch pipe of a broad tank...

40.... Remove it from a branch pipe and fix on the engine.	41. Separate highways of a supply and fuel plum («Replacement of a lining of a head of the block of cylinders» see).

42. Ослабьте collars of fastening also disconnect from branch pipes hoses of a radiator of a heater.	43. Remove the generator (Removal and generator installation »see«) as it disturbs to engine removal.

44. Turn out a bolt of the bottom fastening forward распорки an inlet pipe and take away it forward so that it did not disturb to starter removal.	45. Turn out bolts of fastening of a starter (Removal and starter installation »see«), take out it from a nest in the block of cylinders, without disconnecting a wire, and fix in any accessible way on the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket.

46. Turn away a nut of fastening of a reception pipe to a final collector, remove washers and...

47.... Take away a reception pipe from the engine.

48. Turn out a bolt of the top fastening back распорки an inlet pipe and remove распорку.	49. For fastening slings of the load-lifting mechanism it is convenient to use one of the transport eyes established on the top bolts of fastening crankcase of coupling. Remove an eye from a bolt and fix it on a place of an arm of a "mass" wire of the engine a bolt of its fastening, as is shown in a photo.

50. Using the regular and again established eyes, fix to a sling of the load-lifting mechanism on the engine.	51. Turn out bolts of fastening of the amplifier of the forward panel of a skeleton of a motor compartment and remove the amplifier.
